Project Overview

A museum-quality interior restoration of a historic Avondale property. The home's original period features, from hand-carved moldings and mantels to raised-panel wainscoting and built-in cabinetry, were restored across the interior.

The work was completed in close coordination with local craftsmen and specialists across every trade on the property. Our role included plaster repair, paint stripping carried out to preserve the original material beneath, wallpaper restoration, window glazing, and cabinet refinishing.

Product selection: Benjamin Moore for general finishes, Fine Paints of Europe for the high-gloss depth its oil enamels bring to trim and millwork, Farrow & Ball for its historically grounded palette and depth of color, and Donald Kaufman for custom, layered color developed for the space.
