PROJECT OVERVIEW

A shoreline property requiring overdue exterior cleaning and refinishing after prolonged exposure to salt air and weather. Work began with a complete exterior wash, including thorough removal of algae, mildew, and lichen from the roof to halt deterioration and extend its service life.

The roof was sealed with two coats of acrylic sealant with integrated mildewcide. Substrate preparation and targeted repair followed throughout the exterior. An oil-based primer was applied for penetration and adhesion on weathered surfaces, followed by two coats of Benjamin Moore Arborcoat Premium Solid Stain with mildewcide on the siding, and a high-grade polymer acrylic finish with mildewcide on the trim. Each was selected for performance in demanding shoreline conditions.
