Cyr Painting & Restoration was founded in 1983 to raise the standard in a trade where too many painting contractors were willing to cut corners. From the start, the goal was simple: do first-class residential and commercial painting work, and never compromise on quality.

The company began in Stonington, Connecticut, where John Cyr grew up and learned the painting and restoration trade early, working under skilled painters, running crews by age 14, and building a reputation for doing things right. Today, we're known for that same standard: delivering the highest quality of interior and exterior painting services, treating people with respect, and never compromising.

We've built lasting relationships with clients across the Connecticut and Rhode Island shoreline, serving communities including Mystic, Groton, Charlestown, Watch Hill, and surrounding coastal areas.
